It's Catch up time!!!!

It's been VERY busy here...I've been to other blogs but have been very lax on keeping up with my own...Kids are out of school, Justin is down here...so that means my life is not my own....

Keeping 4 kids busy is a challange...I have heard "I'm Bored" more times than I care to count...These kids have roller blades, bikes, scooters, skateboards, tennis rackets, kites, and yet....they remain bored....

I know the problem....I don't let them sit in front of the TV all day nor do I let them play computer games or video games all day...I've never been that kind of Mom that allows that to happen...I've heard all the medical experts that say kids shouldn't be allowed to do just and I happen to agree...As long as it's not raining...I really want the kids to be outside for the most part...So yeah...I do limit them....I know they don't like it at times (Especially Wesley-he would remain glued to Cartoon Network if we let him) but I always believe that it's for thier own good...they are getting much needed exercise and sunshine...I remember as a kid that's where I always wanted to be...outside...I'd be outside from morning til nighttime...Just being outside...it was wonderful...I will never understand why kids today have a problem with it...they'd rather park thier butts in front of the TV or play the video games...UGH!!!!!

It's also been interesting with Justin here...I knew there were going to be some adjustments for him...He's had it pretty rough this past year and Mike and I both knew it affected him greatly...I think the hardest thing for him is getting used to all the rules...He's an only child and with how my sister has been this past year...he's not had a whole lot of structure...Now he's in a place where there is structure and it's taking time for him to get adjusted...Mike and I are taking the time to explain everything to him...and he also knows that if he breaks the rules...he will be punished...(And he remembers how I am! LOL) Part of the reason Diane wanted him to come here was for the structure while she tried to get her life together (And she's coming along with that-it's not been an easy road-but she's hanging in there-and FINALLY getting a tough side!)

Work is going okay....It's hard with the new schedule...I work Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:30pm to 9pm and Wednesday and Fridays 7:30am til 5pm and then go in for a couple hours on Saturday....I am actually wishing I had done the 2:30 to 9pm for all week...that would have been easier on me...It's the getting home at 9pm and going to bed and heading right back into the office in the morning that gets me...ah well...

Well trying to think of anything else I need to add....hmm...*scratches head*....I know there was a lot more I had to add but right now it's left my brain.....
